I wonder why N.I.N.A doesn't correct the rotation though. Now you know the rotation of your camera is really at for that target and you can update Stellarium rotation settings. It'll give a number like 272 or whatever rotation it solves for. When you go into NINA's framing tab and click "Slew and solve- watch carefully for the little window pop up with the taken sample image and look for the line "orientation".
What APT does is, once it did a framing shot, it'll update the Stellarium's sensor rotation.īasically, if you got your camera rotated to a certain way and you just leave it "0" degrees in Stellarium and on an EQ mount it's gonna show you a framing IF your camera is really 0 degrees rotated. Rotation is something that NINA still doesn't correct, while APT does. You can also set up Stellarium with the size of the sensor of the camera and the focal range and aperture of your telescope to give you a precise size of your field of view and what you should expect when you take your images. I will go over this information again and try. When I click on the import coordinates from Stellarium on the tab in framing in NINA it doesn't show up. I've done everything in Stellarium as far as setting it up like the video link.
